Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and calculation of federal pension plans for eligible employees.
- Analyze individual retirement data to ensure accurate benefit projections and disbursements.
- Communicate complex pension regulations and policy changes to federal staff in clear, accessible language.
- Process daily pay requests and expedite claims to ensure timely compensation for staff.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state labor laws regarding retirement benefits.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records regarding employee pension contributions and payouts.
- Collaborate with HR departments to resolve discrepancies in pension documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience with ERISA regulations, federal retirement systems, or pension administration is highly valued.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data modeling.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits.
