Responsibilities
- Assist federal employees in calculating and processing pension entitlements accurately.
- Review and verify pension plan documents for compliance with federal regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to retirees and employees via phone and email.
- Update and maintain employee pension records in the federal database.
- Conduct research on pension plan updates and communicate changes to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the HR team to resolve complex benefits inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or Public Administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform complex data entry with high accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of retirement plans and financial concepts is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and security clearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
