Responsibilities
- Process and review federal pension applications and retirement claims with high accuracy.
- Verify eligibility requirements and ensure compliance with federal regulations and ERISA guidelines.
- Manage night shift data entry tasks for the pension administration database.
- Communicate complex pension information clearly to federal employees via phone and email.
- Investigate discrepancies in pension records and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal personnel and financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, or pension processing.
- Strong knowledge of federal retirement systems and regulations.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and federal case management software.
