Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of federal pension applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Advise federal employees on retirement options, survivor benefits, and pension calculations.
- Resolve complex inquiries regarding Social Security and Medicare integration with federal retirement plans.
- Collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to interpret and apply pension laws.
- Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions and benefit determinations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to applicants and beneficiaries, ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, or federal government services.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pension data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management systems.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to pass a background investigation.
