Responsibilities
- Analyze complex pension applications and determine eligibility under FERS/CSRS regulations.
- Process weekly payroll and retirement benefit disbursements with 100% accuracy.
- Provide expert consultation to federal employees regarding their pension rights and survivor benefits.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal privacy laws and Department of Labor policies.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to resolve discrepancies in benefit calculations.
- Prepare detailed reports on pension plan performance and workforce trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, or Public Administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in pension administration or federal benefits processing.
- Deep understanding of FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System) and CSRS plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management software.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
