Responsibilities
- Analyze federal legislation and regulations affecting veteran healthcare services
- Develop policy recommendations for program improvement and compliance
- Coordinate with congressional offices and veteran advocacy groups
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation effectiveness of existing policies
- Lead cross-functional task forces on veteran service initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on veteran outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years federal policy analysis experience
- Deep knowledge of VA healthcare systems and regulations
- Expertise in legislative research and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
