Responsibilities
- Analyze federal legislation and regulatory impacts on veteran services
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for congressional stakeholders
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces on veteran healthcare initiatives
- Conduct quantitative research using federal databases and statistical tools
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees
- Manage cross-departmental projects with strict federal compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal government experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in VA regulations and federal procurement processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Strong written communication with policy drafting experience
