Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze federal policies affecting veterans' healthcare and benefits
- Collaborate with congressional offices on legislative initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using federal data systems
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and congressional testimony documents
- Coordinate interagency initiatives with OMB and GSA
- Monitor compliance with federal regulations (Title 38, CFR)
- Lead cross-functional teams for policy implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years federal policy analysis experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX)
- Knowledge of veterans' affairs programs and regulations
- Experience with qualitative research methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
