Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate federal healthcare program performance metrics to ensure compliance with VA regulations
- Develop strategic implementation plans for new veteran benefit initiatives across the Midwest region
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to streamline service delivery and improve veteran access to care
- Prepare comprehensive reports and budget proposals for senior leadership review
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for program vulnerabilities
- Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements
- Represent the VA in stakeholder meetings with local government agencies and veteran organizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of federal program management or healthcare administration experience
- Expertise in federal compliance frameworks (VA, OMB, GAO regulations)
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and MS Office Suite
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance metrics evaluation
- Knowledge of veterans' healthcare systems and benefit programs
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
