Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic healthcare programs for veteran populations
- Manage federal grant budgets exceeding $5M with strict compliance oversight
- Coordinate interagency partnerships with state/local government entities
- Analyze program performance metrics and prepare congressional reports
- Lead cross-functional teams of healthcare specialists and administrators
- Ensure adherence to federal procurement regulations (FAR)
- Represent the agency at stakeholder meetings and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in federal budgeting systems (e.g., MAX)
- Experience with VA-specific healthcare programs preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS)
