Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight and execution of federal programs within the Northeast Florida region. You will ensure that all operations adhere to strict federal regulations while optimizing efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal grant programs and community initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Coordinate communication between federal stakeholders, local agencies, and community partners.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to senior leadership and oversight boards.
- Manage a team of administrative staff and provide mentorship and performance feedback.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Facilitate training sessions to ensure all staff are up-to-date on policy changes.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a valid government-issued ID.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal, state, or local government sectors.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and government case management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate complex topics.
- Travel: Occasional travel to regional field offices may be required.
