Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives supporting veteran healthcare access
- Analyze policy impacts and prepare compliance reports for VA leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with state and local government entities
- Manage grant applications and funding allocations for veteran services
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend program improvements
- Represent the VA in community outreach events across Kentucky
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and OMB guidelines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Master's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Knowledge of VA regulations (38 CFR) and federal procurement laws
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., eRA Commons)
- Security clearance eligibility (must pass background check)
- Experience with veteran service organizations preferred
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills
