Responsibilities
- Develop and implement veteran outreach programs across Kentucky
- Analyze program effectiveness using federal compliance metrics
- Coordinate with state/local agencies for veteran service integration
- Manage grant applications and reporting for federal funding
- Conduct veteran eligibility determinations per VA guidelines
- Prepare congressional briefings and performance reports
- Maintain secure veteran databases in accordance with FISMA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and MS Office Suite
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Knowledge of veterans' benefits programs (GI Bill, VHA, etc.)
- Experience with federal grant management (2 CFR 200)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- U.S. citizenship required
