Responsibilities
- Oversee federal grant programs ensuring compliance with VA regulations
- Analyze program performance data and prepare quarterly impact reports
- Coordinate with local agencies to implement veteran outreach initiatives
- Develop training materials for staff on federal compliance standards
- Manage budgets exceeding $2M annually with rigorous fiscal oversight
- Represent the agency at community events and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience with OMB Circular A-123 compliance
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
