Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze federal policies related to homeland security and counterterrorism
- Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for congressional stakeholders and agency leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives with FBI, DHS, and other federal partners
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using advanced data analysis tools
- Represent the agency at high-level intergovernmental forums and public hearings
- Oversee implementation of regulatory compliance frameworks for federal programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of federal government policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top Secret
- Demonstrated experience with federal regulatory processes and legislation
- Superior written/verbal communication skills with policy drafting experience
