Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage federal programs serving veterans in Central California
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend evidence-based improvements
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships and stakeholder communications
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight and performance metrics
- Lead community outreach initiatives to enhance program accessibility
- Manage program budgets exceeding $500K with strict fiscal compliance
- Mentor junior staff and develop training materials for program delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal program management or public sector experience
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX.gov)
- Advanced knowledge of VA regulations and veterans' services
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active security clearance eligibility required
