Responsibilities
- Oversee veteran benefit program implementation and compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze program performance data and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate with VA medical centers, state agencies, and community partners
- Develop training materials for staff and veteran outreach initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Manage grant allocations and vendor contracts for veteran services
- Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility standards in program delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Expertise in VA benefits systems (e.g., VBMS, VBA) or federal grant management
- Proficient with data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, or SAS)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with veteran service organizations preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- US citizenship required
