Responsibilities
- Conduct security patrols and access control at federal facilities in New Orleans
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents 24/7
- Enforce federal regulations and conduct preliminary investigations
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments
- Provide emergency response support during natural disasters or security threats
- Train on specialized equipment including X-ray scanners and metal detectors
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass federal background check and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness to pass annual fitness standards
- Flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts (6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm)
- Basic computer proficiency and report writing skills
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Facility Security Clearance
