Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and advanced imaging technology.
- Perform physical pat-downs and baggage searches in accordance with TSA regulations and procedures.
- Identify and seize prohibited items and threats to aviation security.
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Monitor security screening equipment for malfunctions and report issues immediately to supervisors.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and legal requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent vision (with or without correction) and ability to detect subtle details in X-ray images.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history.
