Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Enforce security regulations and policies to detect prohibited items and potential threats.
- Interact professionally and courteously with passengers, providing clear instructions while maintaining situational awareness.
- Document screening results accurately and report any anomalies or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and readiness to perform security duties effectively.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of federal officers to ensure a smooth and secure travel experience for all.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must successfully complete a federal background investigation and drug screening.
- Ability to pass the TSA pre-employment fitness assessment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
