Responsibilities
- Conduct Screening Operations: Operate advanced imaging technology, X-ray equipment, and walk-through metal detectors to screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items.
- Enforce Security Protocols: Strictly adhere to TSA security directives and regulations to ensure compliance with federal laws.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with passengers, providing clear instructions and assistance while maintaining a calm demeanor during high-volume periods.
- Situational Awareness: Maintain a high level of vigilance to identify potential threats and ensure the safety of the airport environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner regarding screening activities and incidents.

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Education: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
- Background Check: Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a criminal history check and fingerprinting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a medical examination.
- Language: Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently to ensure effective communication and safety.
- Drug Test: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
