Responsibilities
- Manage Records: Organize, archive, and retrieve physical and digital files in strict accordance with federal retention policies.
- Data Entry: Accurately input data into government databases and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
- Mail & Correspondence: Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail, including classified materials when necessary.
- Compliance Support: Assist in preparing documents for audits and ensure all filing systems meet federal compliance standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on office equipment and filing cabinets to ensure smooth operations.
- Shift Adherence: Maintain a consistent work schedule during weekend shifts to support agency operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in office administration, records management, or data entry.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a government background investigation and security clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with filing systems is mandatory.
