Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic federal records in accordance with retention schedules.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence with high attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and statistical data for federal compliance audits.
- Operate office automation equipment, including scanners, printers, and filing systems.
- Answer general inquiries from federal staff regarding document retrieval and filing procedures.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive government information at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an office environment, records management, or federal government setting is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for federal employment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
