Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain remote server environments, ensuring high availability and performance for federal clients.
- Ensure Data Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide Remote Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for remote federal employees, providing timely and effective solutions via secure channels.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with agency program managers and technical leads to align IT strategies with federal mission objectives.
- System Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including network diagrams and incident reports.
- Project Implementation: Assist in the deployment of new federal software applications and hardware upgrades.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to meet federal government security requirements.
- Security Clearance: Possession or ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Remote Experience: Proven track record of successfully working in a remote or telework environment.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote client interactions.
