Responsibilities
- System Analysis and Design: Conduct thorough analysis of current systems and design efficient, scalable solutions to meet business requirements.
- Project Management: Lead or support IT projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Data Integrity: Oversee data migration processes and ensure the accuracy and security of sensitive state records.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and guidance to end-users and junior staff members.
- Compliance: Ensure all technical implementations comply with state and federal regulations and security standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, and process manuals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related IT role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or C# is highly desired. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or ITIL certification is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced government environment.
