Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive project success.
- Ensure strict compliance with New York State IT governance policies and federal regulations.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior leadership and the public sector board.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Manage the project budget and resource allocation effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a government or large enterprise environment.
- Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
- PMP, CAPM, or PgMP certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background check.
