Responsibilities
- Lead complex data analysis projects to support agency decision-making and policy development.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing rigorous quality assurance checks and cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies.
- Optimize database queries and data pipelines to improve system performance and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python, or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
