Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned federal facilities to ensure the security and safety of all personnel and visitors.
- Monitor access control points, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as required.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following established protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logs using computerized systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to federal employees and visitors while enforcing facility rules.
- Assist in the coordination of emergency evacuation procedures and fire drills.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation, including a criminal history check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties as needed.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not always required.
