Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to federal facilities to ensure strict compliance with security protocols.
- Conduct routine security patrols of the premises to identify and report potential hazards or security breaches.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, alarms, and security incidents in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logbooks documenting all security activities, observations, and incidents.
- Enforce government regulations and facility rules while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with law enforcement and other security personnel to coordinate response efforts.
- Assist in the orientation of new personnel regarding facility safety and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug screen, and medical evaluation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and operate security equipment for extended periods.
