Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during overnight hours
- Monitor access control systems and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies per federal protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Operate CCTV systems and alarm monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Enforce federal security regulations and site-specific policies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license
- Ability to work independently overnight (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency with security technology (CCTV, access control)
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
