Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal premises during overnight hours
- Conduct access control screenings and identity verification procedures
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Enforce federal regulations and security protocols at all times
- Operate advanced security equipment including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Provide emergency response support during critical situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Familiarity with federal security regulations (FIPS, PPD-21)
