Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of federal facilities in the New Orleans area
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents within 15 minutes
- Implement access control protocols for high-security government buildings
- Collaborate with local law enforcement during emergency response drills
- Prepare detailed security reports and incident documentation
- Train federal staff on security protocols and emergency procedures
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned government properties
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in law enforcement or security operations
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Certification in Homeland Security Emergency Management (EMT or higher preferred)
- Proficiency in security software systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- Pass extensive background investigation and polygraph examination
