Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security screenings and access control operations at federal facilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents with appropriate protocols
- Inspect vehicles, packages, and personnel to ensure compliance with federal security standards
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of security activities and incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Operate advanced security equipment including X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Enforce federal regulations and provide security briefings to personnel
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
