Responsibilities
- Application Management: Process and review incoming federal job applications and constituent inquiries with high attention to detail.
- Payroll Coordination: Assist in the preparation and verification of timecards to guarantee accurate and timely weekly pay disbursements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain secure and organized digital and physical records in compliance with federal regulations and privacy laws.
- Agency Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination between local offices and federal agencies.
- Compliance Support: Help ensure all departmental operations adhere to federal, state, and local government standards and auditing requirements.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident eligible for federal employment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in government administration, customer service, or data entry is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic database management software.
- Character: Must pass a background check and drug screening and demonstrate the integrity required for public service.
