Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux environments).
  • Ensure compliance with federal security standards, including NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Perform system backups, patch management, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and optimize system performance.
  • Document technical configurations, procedures, and incident reports for internal knowledge bases.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support and guidance to end-users and junior staff members.
  • Monitor system health and security alerts to prevent breaches and ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Systems Administration or IT Support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or willingness to undergo a background investigation).
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
