Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux environments).
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards, including NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP requirements.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and optimize system performance.
- Document technical configurations, procedures, and incident reports for internal knowledge bases.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support and guidance to end-users and junior staff members.
- Monitor system health and security alerts to prevent breaches and ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Systems Administration or IT Support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or willingness to undergo a background investigation).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain IAT Level II (CISSP, Security+) certification preferred.
