Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and network servers, ensuring 99.9% uptime during weekend shifts.
- Provide Level 3 technical support for federal agencies, resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and conduct security audits in compliance with federal standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and backup restoration procedures.
- Collaborate with the on-call team during emergencies to mitigate system outages.
- Document all system changes, incidents, and resolutions in the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Federal or Government IT environment.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as required by federal mandates.
- ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
