Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for federal agency hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve IT solutions that meet federal compliance standards.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations for the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certification: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar IT certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and remote access tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
