Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal clients, ensuring compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive system audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust cybersecurity protocols.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident response efforts for complex technical issues affecting critical government operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate emerging technologies (Cloud, AI).
- Provide expert technical guidance and training to junior staff and federal stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all systems, processes, and security configurations.
- Ensure all technical projects adhere to strict federal timelines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly required.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in network architecture, firewall management, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefing senior leadership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation.
