Responsibilities
- System Optimization: Analyze, design, and implement complex IT systems to support municipal operations and federal grants.
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of large-scale government databases and reporting tools.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to strict government regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) regarding data privacy and cybersecurity protocols.
- Technical Support: Provide high-level troubleshooting and technical guidance to internal government stakeholders and departments.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of software solutions and digital initiatives.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems analysis, IT project management, or government IT support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or .NET; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Background: Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
