Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure high availability and optimal speed for all city services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network hardware and software issues with minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular network audits and provide comprehensive technical documentation for all systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network engineering or system administration.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
