Responsibilities
- Provide direct veteran support services during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Process federal benefits claims with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain strict HIPAA/FERPA compliance protocols
- Conduct weekend facility security assessments
- Generate weekly compliance reports for regional oversight
- Train weekend volunteers on federal procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal/government experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- VA benefits certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of federal regulations (VA, HIPAA)
- Proficient in Veterans Health Information Systems (VistA)
- Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
