Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned sectors to maintain public order, safety, and security.
- Respond to emergency calls, non-emergency service requests, and investigations.
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations through detailed written reports.
- Assist citizens with inquiries, directions, and general information in a professional manner.
- Monitor CCTV systems and access control points to identify potential security threats.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Citizenship or proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Physical agility to perform duties including walking, standing, lifting, and responding to emergencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn government software systems.
