Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, athletic fields, and playgrounds
- Organize and lead recreational programs (sports, arts, senior activities)
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Assist in special event coordination and setup
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including landscaping and equipment checks
- Enforce park safety regulations and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- 1+ years experience in parks, maintenance, or customer service
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
