Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf management, irrigation systems, and facility upkeep
- Lead recreational programs including youth sports, senior activities, and special eventsOperate park equipment (mowers, tractors, maintenance tools) safely and efficiently
- Enforce park rules and ensure visitor safety at all facilities
- Assist with event setup/teardown for community festivals and tournaments
- Perform routine inspections of playgrounds, trails, and athletic courts
- Collaborate with maintenance team on landscape improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- 6 months experience in parks, landscaping, or customer service
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
