Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, facilities, and equipment through daily inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Lead recreational programs including youth sports, fitness classes, and community events
- Enforce safety protocols and provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Assist with seasonal installations, landscaping projects, and special event setup
- Collaborate with maintenance staff for facility upkeep and hazard mitigation
- Document park conditions and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in parks maintenance, event coordination, or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
