Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park facilities, including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking trails
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers) and hand tools safely
- Assist with event setup/teardown for community festivals and programs
- Monitor park conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Support cleanup and beautification initiatives throughout the park system
Qualifications
- No prior experience required—training provided!
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid Florida Driver's License (preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance equipment (training available)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
