Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) to identify market opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and nurture relationships with venture capital firms and academic research labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or equivalent leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Strategic certification (e.g., TOGAF, CSM) or advanced degree in relevant field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation
