Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing verticals
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual budgets
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with global research institutions and Fortune 100 companies
- Translate complex scientific breakthroughs into market-ready commercialization strategies
- Chair the 'Future Horizons' think tank, publishing annual white papers on emerging tech trends
- Represent InnovateNext at Davos, TED, and UN technology summits
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging technologies through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful exits or IPOs)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or AGI ethics
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and venture capital ($100M+ raised)
- Fluency in Mandarin and Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of patented technologies shaping current industry standards
