Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging tech verticals, producing actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Architect cross-disciplinary innovation projects bridging AI, biotech, and space exploration domains
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and leading academic research institutions
- Present tech vision to investors, board members, and key stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor a team of 7 specialists in emerging technologies, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and government funding for future-tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact on future-tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Biotechnology, Physics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy and investor pitches
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government-contracted projects
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or speaker at premier tech conferences (TED, Web Summit)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust) and familiarity with quantum ML frameworks
