Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies shaping 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption impact on business objectives
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Author thought leadership content positioning company as 2026 technology pioneer
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven experience forecasting tech trends and translating into business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams
